As I’m sure you already know, all the files you place in the special Dropbox folder are automatically uploaded to the cloud and synced across devices. What if you want to effortlessly move all those files from the Dropbox folder to (My) Documents? Thanks to Dropbox Archiver, you can do so with a mere click on the application’s interface.

To get started with Dropbox Archiver you will not have to go through a time consuming installation process. What you will have to do is download and run a lightweight executable. I say lightweight because the executable is less than 1MB in size. Downloading such a small file will take very, very little time.

The system requirements for running Dropbox Archiver are quite low: 2MB of free disk space, 512MB of RAM memory, Vista operating system or newer, .NET Framework 4.5 or newer, Dropbox application.

The functionality Dropbox Archiver has to offer is very clearly presented on the application’s interface. There are three large buttons on said interface:
Copy files from Dropbox to the archive in My Documents;
Delete the contents of Dropbox, keeping the folder structure;
Delete Dropbox completely and copy structure from archive.

In the bottom left hand side of the interface there’s a small Settings button. From the Settings menu that shows up when you click this button, you can select the Dropbox folder path and the Documents folder path.

Run Dropbox Archiver, click a button, and the application will quickly copy all the data from your Dropbox folder to (My) Documents.

Pros

Dropbox Archiver does not have to be installed and that makes it portable. The system requirements for running Dropbox Archiver are very low. The functionality is very clearly presented on the interface. Click a button and the application will move everything from your Dropbox folder to your Documents.

Cons

None that I could think of.
